Ah shit son, everybody’s some-what favorite Chicago rapper, Rhymefest, has been defeated in his run for Alderman on Tuesday (April 5).

He lost the election in his city’s 20th Ward, receiving 45 percent of the vote to incumbent Willie Cochran’s 55, not a good look homie.

According to ‘Rhymefest, his arch-nemesis Willie Cochran’s total was exalted due to voter fraud, a matter he is currently trying to prove. “We want to ensure that it’s fair and that every vote is counted, and that people who didn’t live in the ward of vacant lots weren’t people who were voting,” the former Kanye West-affiliate explained in an interview with ABC. “We want to make sure that the 20th Ward voices are heard … We concede nothing.”

Alderman Cochran responded to ‘Fest’s allegations, saying that the Board of Elections will confirm his victory.

The judges of the election, poll watchers, people at the Board of Elections, none of them are conspiring to create some kind of fake win,” argued Cochran. “This was won in the field, in the battlefield. It was won by voters going into the booth doing what they do, and that is 53 percent for Willie Cochran.”
