Mos DefBrooklyn rapper/actor Mos Def has finally completed his solo album, “True Magic,” his first full-length project since 2004’s “The New Danger.” The album is slated for release on Sept. 19 through Geffen Records, and features production from Kanye West, the Neptunes, Rich Harrison, among others.Mos also has several silver screen projects in the works – including “The Brazilian Job,” the sequel to 2003’s “The Italian Job,” and a brief cameo in Will Farrell’s latest comedy “Talladega Nights.” Lastly, after the success of his 24-second short film created for Converse’s Spring 2006 ad campaign, Mos Def has inked a deal to release his own shoe based on the classic Chuck Taylor All-Star sneaker. His signature sneakers feature laser-etched pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline, and are available now in stores
