Lil Wayne was arrested yesterday on drug charges and released on bond, according to Atlanta police.The 23-year-old rapper, born Dwayne Michael Carter, was taken into custody in midtown Atlanta for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, purchased of a controlled substance, and several minor offenses.Carter was later released on bond from the Fulton County Jail.He is scheduled to begin a U.S. tour with Atlanta-based group Dem Franchize Boyz on Thursday in Cincinnati. It is unknown if the recent arrest will affect any upcoming concert dates.
