
Former Atlantic Records artist Fat Joe is working independently on a new video for his street joint 'No Drama', based on scenes from Denzel Washington's 2004 film 'Man on Fire'."It has scenes where the rival dude is running the streets, disrespecting the women", said the leader of Terror Squad. "Of course, it's my video, so you know who's gonna win". The video includes a hostage scene where a man's hands are duck taped to a steering wheel. Cast members of 'No Drama' match the gritty feel and visuals of the piece; Ron Artest-Joe's opening act on his European tour-, The Lox, The Diplomats, Remy Ma, Paul Wall, and Tony Sunshine make cameos."I usually drop street joints, but sometimes I don't shoot videos", said Joe. "I wanted to shoot a video for this one."According to Joe all expenses are paid by him and he is prepping a new LP called 'Me, Myself and I'. The Bronx emcee, touting a nearly fifteen year industry run, will handle all publicity and production costs for the album. Though he has yet to let the cat out of the bag Joe says labels are knocking at his door, it's just a matter of time.
