
The family of the man fatally shot by D12’s Proof during a nightclub altercation is suing the dead rapper’s estate for a second time after its first civil suit was dismissed.According to the Detroit Free Press, the latest suit was filed on Tuesday in Wayne County Circuit Court and holds Proof liable for the killing of Keith Bender Jr. in Detroit’s CCC club.Court papers cite the slain rapper’s past propensity for carrying guns and engaging in violent acts, as evidenced by his long rap sheet.Bender, 35, was shot by Proof – born Deshaun Holton – in a Detroit nightclub back in April. Proof, 32, was then shot and killed by a club bouncer.The latest legal action seeks unspecified damages.
