
Saigon’s album title, “The Greatest Story Never Told,” may be self-fulfilling prophecy. According to the rapper’s MySpace page, its release date is being pushed back yet again.“Well I know a lot of y’all have been waiting to know what’s going on with my album, and the release dates and all of that,” posted Saigon, whose official debut was initially slated for last year.“Unfortunately I don’t have a street date to give you for two reasons. The first because I am just now completing [it], secondly because I don’t wanna give a date and keep getting my shit pushed back because of label politricks.”Reportedly the album was slated to drop this November on Atlantic Records via Fort Knox Entertainment, founded by producer Just Blaze. Now it’s not certain when the LP will ever hit stores.Despite the setback, Saigon claims his forthcoming album is a “certified classic, my best rhymes and Just Blaze’s best beats,” and he urged fans to check out his latest street single 'Pain In My Life'.“There is a lot of pressure when you have one of the most anticipated albums in the whole world,” he added. “But I think I delivered. Trust and believe me.”
