Got A Dream

Post by young_jobe »

[V 1]
Cruel and evil minds,
having to screw with people lives,
false and true deceitful lies,
is fooling people's minds;
in a city where gruesome people die,
committing cruel and evil crimes

Bring end of this violence,
break down, take out, the infamous tyrant,
and we brought end of this giant;
"I got a dream...!!", that was Martin Luther King,
he never stop on pursuin' dreams

There's kids in the ghetto in the Brooks' that got dreams;
hey, look at Rakim, crooked minds in a Brooklyn life;
plotted with a lot of schemes,
loss faith and dropped the dreams

Spiritual lyrical words on every song I breathe;
wise words got me back on my feet,
things change aint that evident??
Now, we got a black president

Racism is getting old,
we would have ethinicity relations if people didnt know,
my momma tried her best to help others and giving clothes,
but dreams always live in folks,
Yeah.. I got a dream

lies can't be true....and definitely not true and false at the same time
is fooling people's minds;
should be are

a few critiques^^^^^

overall I felt this piece was lack luster but the rhyming was definitely on point. Keep it up bro. Image
