Diddy's downtown New York restaurant, Justin's.According to New York Police Department spokesperson Sergeant Mike Wysokowski, the gunman hit Fabolous, AKA John Jackson, in a parking garage, then the rapper, with entourage in tow, jumped into a white Dodge Magnum and fled. The car reportedly ran a red light and police, in route to the scene of the shooting, pulled it over, finding two unlicensed, loaded guns- a 9mm and .40 caliber-during a subsequent search. The four men were arrested, and Jackson was shipped to a hospital for treatment. Sergeant Wysokowski presumes, though none have been filed yet, charges against the men will include criminal possession of a weapon. He added that in New York anyone caught in a vehicle with unlicensed guns is by law "in possession" of them. Jackson's bodyguard later provided proof of ownership for the gun. Jackson said he planned to sue NYC for $5 million on grounds that he was falsely arrested.
