The Hip-Hop charts for the week of December 5th show the continuous drop of rap stock on CD shelves. Virginia based Hip-Hop duo, The Clipse, enter the week at #14 with close to 80,000 units sold. To some it may seem as a surprise, but with a lack of promotion and a strong #1 single, the Clipse had no shot.'Kingdom Come,' Jay-Z's comeback released suffered a 80 percent drop to 140,000 copies pushing the LP to 821,000 units. With the release of his new single 'Lost Ones,' you canexpect the Jay-Z album to move a maximum of 2 million copies considering the lack of CD sales this year.One of Snoop's best CD's in a long time, 'The Blue Carpet Treatment,' pushed 90,000 copies this week bringing its total to 355,000. Snoop looks to be on his way to a Gold plaque.
