Illest Lyrics: So, whats up Ghost, thanks for doing this interview.

Ghost: No problem man, thanx for havin me for this, its a great opportunity for me to get my name across the site/internet...

Illest Lyrics: no doubt, speaking of your name, what made you choose the name ghost?

Ghost: well it actually stems from livin in detroit, i went to a vocational school out there, and when they took my photo for my school ID it was kinda faded and light in color so my boi Black started callin me Ghost, and it jus stuck for me....It fits me Perfectly!

Illest Lyrics: oh, nice, when exactly was hip hop introduced to you..or became a part of your life

Ghost: I was about 14/15 when i stumbled across a hip-hop freestyle chat room on msn. and I started writin and formin rhymes wit structures, and now im here on the Illest of Ill Sites IllestLyrics.Com. But then i was jus writin rhymes, it wasnt until I moved to Detroit that I started freestylin and actually flowin my rhymes. Thats when i truely found out that rappin wasnt as easy as i sought it out to be

Illest Lyrics: Oh, yea man thanks for the props, in one word how would you describe yourself

Ghost: Individualized

Illest Lyrics: Good choice, so who or what influences you to write.

Ghost: Well, Of Course my first influence was Eminem, but listenin to Lloyd Banks, Fabo, Big Pun, Immortal Tech, Canibus amoung many others. But its the release of emotions thru words wit meanin and substance bein veiwed by my peers thats gets me...

Illest Lyrics: Pretty nice list of emcees, i see you mentioned eminem, what do you think about how eminem has paved the way and influenced many white rappers to start writing

Ghost: Well, in my own thoughts, Writin raps/poem/lyrics is a release of your inner demons. And can keep you sane, keep you from blowin up wit the shit that you bottle up inside. But when a "white rapper" becomes famous it gives us Pride and Hopes that we can do this as well...

Ghost: well im not to sure, i dont remember my 1st 2 battles, they were a long time ago, but every battle for me is a challenge, im not to much of a battler...

Illest Lyrics: oh, we're seeing the nice, calm side of you, is there a mean side or ghost, anyone you beefin with?

Ghost: I tend to be calm, unless someone pisses me off especially if im Drunk. but over the net i dont " BEEF " wit anyone. Theres no need to beef wit ppl you dont see or know personally.

Illest Lyrics:well put, is there anyone you'd like to collab with?

Ghost:Ive collabed wit 8th, and currently tryin to set up a collab wit many artists from the site so expect to see it soon, but i would most like to do a collab wit Ekoms or PLEX...

Illest Lyrics:Oh, good luck man, so before we depart is there anything you want the readers to expect or look out for in the future.

Ghost: Well, as you and everyone prolly already know im steadily droppin new posts in The Scriptures, but for as the future for me on this site Im on the Path to get into the Battlin Scene again... So All Potential Challanges Look Out!!!!! LOL
