Superstar rapper Eminem has fired back at his ex-wife Kim Mathers in a statement released by his publicist today (Feb. 16).
Eminem's ex-wife Kim appeared on the "Mojo in the Morning" show this morning on Detroit's WKQI 95.5.

During the interview, Kim revealed that she had to force her children to visit Eminem, that he wasn't taking care of their daughter Hailie Jade or Kim's other children and that he was still on drugs.

"It's a shame that I've moved on and Kim hasn't," Eminem said in a statement today. "Her ongoing press campaign is doing nothing but harm to the children, and for that I feel truly sorry. For their sake I wish she would stop."

Kim said that Eminem sent her a text message stating he couldn't believe that she was going on air to talk about their relationship.

"Its embarrassing to our family and you must not have any respect for the kids," Kim said. "I'm like 'hello, have you listened to any of your songs?'"

In today's interview, Kim said that Eminem was not capable of loving women.

She also said that she constantly worried about Eminem's drug addiction and that the rapper was still addicted to drugs.

"The 'When I'm Gone' video. Me and Hailie were supposed to be in that and lets just say I found some things on the video set that' probably shouldn't have been there and that's why we weren't in the actual video," Kim said.

Kim also said she wasn't sure why Eminem asked to get married for a second time in Jan. 2006, only to be divorced her one month later, in Feb. 2006.

"I wrote him a hundreds letters since he walked out...we got into an argument about a birthday party and he left...I said 'do you want people to feel sorry for you again? You're putting out another album their gonna want to buy it and hear what I did this time?" Kim said.

Kim said that she was 100% positive that she and Eminem would never reconcile.

She also said that was considering a book on her life with Eminem.

Kim also appeared on ABC's 20/20 earlier this month in a segment titled "Sweet Revenge," where she revealed details about her relationship with Eminem and their break up.

"I can't stand him. (He's) an absolute horrible person," Mathers said. "I vomit in my mouth whenever I'm around him or whenever I hear his name."

She categorized sex with her twice ex-husband as "bad," and said "he's not very well endowed." She added when it came to sex, "(you better have) a little blue pill, or else it does not work."

Mathers has long been the subject of Eminem's vitriolic ire in his songs, and she said she viewed the interview as her chance to speak up in defense of herself.

Mathers said her ex-husband "never stopped his old lifestyle," referring to his pre-rehab addictions. Eminem entered rehab in summer 2005 for his addiction to sleeping medication.

She said she is "100 percent" sure she will never get back together with the rapper, and said she would never date anybody famous again.

Mathers said Eminem sees his kids -- the couple has a daughter, Hailie, together, and they also care for Hailie's cousin, Alaina-- once a week and when he does, "he's always yelling and complaining about something." She said Hailie consistently asks, "Why's dad acting so weird? That's what they say every day."

Mathers said after she attempted suicide after one of Em's concerts in 2000, Eminem reacted by saying he hoped she didn't expect him to miss any concerts because of the incident.

Mathers, who said she has thought about authoring a book about her time with Eminem, appears on today's "The Dr. Keith Ablow Show," though she said the appearance -- taped locally in December -- was only a pre-interview and she never knew it was going to air. She said she never met Ablow.

Mathers said Em text messaged her on Thursday when he heard she was going to appear on the "Mojo in the Morning" show, and blasted her for agreeing to do the interview.

Mathers and Eminem were first married in 1999 and divorced several years later. They re-married in January 2006 at Rochester's Meadow Brook Hall, and were divorced in April of last year.

She has a point about the songs.

As for the book n making money off it? Um. Isn't that exactly what Eminem does with his music. Make money off her. So yah. I have no problem with what she is saying.
