All u Need To Do is Buy a Guitar, There's Good Software Out There Called 'Guitar Pro' And i Use That To Learn Songs But Still Get Tutoring. To Actually Understand The Notes And Frets On Guitar is Nothing, u Can Learn That in 2 Minutes But Yeah, it's Pretty Simple.
