"You Worthless Ya Motha Shoulda Swallowed You"
-TGYH
"Fuckin punk, you aint a leader, what? nobody follow-ed you
You was never shit, your mother shoulda swallowed you"
-Big L
don't know what to make of this
let TGYH have his say, probably just coincidental, but its a pretty well known Big L line, so it stuck out to me...

Nah that is more like a cliche even if Big Pun was the originator, which I doubt.
In hip hop, the amount of cliches and recycling of ideas that we do is often overlooked.
Maybe, he should lose a point in unoriginality or for simplicity, but it's not a blantant bite.
I could go through your drops and find plenty of quotes that other rappers have said as I could myself.

okay lets not go crazy
firstly... its Big L, not Big Pun..
i only brought it up, cause its one of L's most famous lines, so i assumed it wouldnt be used
im just bringing this to a new thread because the old one had closed and wanted to see what the crack was, its obvious TGYH aitn a biter, with his years on the site and what not, but to me.. it seemed like this was a big l line, nota cliche etc, i aint calling anyone a biter, i just wanted to hear your thoughts on it..
i am aware that cliches and things occur in hiphop, especially in text battles, where lines can be rearranged... its just cause Big L is famous in the rap community.. and its one of his lines... that made it stand out, rather than it being some JOHNNYRAP67's line from another site.. get me
and ive never heard it as a slang term or a joking jest term either, another reason it seemed odd
and be my guest.. find a line ive dropped that sounds similar to a famous rapper... that close to it.. again this was almost word for word... another reason it was brought to my attention.
So in closing.. just thought i should bring this up and get a few answers, didnt want to call anyone out as a biter, as it's quite clear you or not, but as i said in my orginal post, its prob a coincidence and let TGYH have his say... so with that...
fair enough.. no hate..

Oh...I meant Big L...
I'm just saying hip hop lyrics are not known for their originality.
Look at Lil Wayne for instance. He takes lines word for word in almost every song.
I'm sure you have done it, I'm not going to go through all your drops to find out. I know, I have done it.
When you write a ridiculous amount and listen to a lot of hip hop. Of course, at times you're going to be writing something you think is original and someone else said it.
