those that go without harm learn nothing
those with tar in their arm earn something
experience is gained from a delirious brain thumping
heart racing and jumping fear of death is nothing

those that go without scars have a halfway heart
those with cuts that run deep see a different part
experience is attained from blood stains on the carpet
the razor speaks words that no mouth could even start with

those that go without pain half a halfway brain
those without white in there nose don't no half the pain
experience is gained from demons that remain uncaged
the mirror stairs you back in your face as you age
