A lot of people have been doing tracks for Detox, lyrics wise, and I think Luda was playing off that or this really want sent to Dr.Dre.

"reference tracks" are rough drafts/outlines of tracks songwriters make to give the performer an idea of how the lyrics/song they're buying should be performed, the practice is way more common in r&b buying whole tracks isn't too common in rap but selling beats with reference hooks is pretty common a producer will typically get an average singer/aspiring songwriter to lay a hook over a beat and shop it around & usually when somebody buys it they have somebody more known re-do it, i'm sure everybodys heard tracks with some unknown guy on the hook and it doesn't sound that great, thats most likely just the mc/label being cheap/lazy and just using the reference track as the final cut when it was just meant to be a rough draft

anyway enough of music biz 101, i didn't think the track was that good at all, i wasn't feeling the lyrics or the beat, i hope it doesn't make it onto detox
Respect this, specialist, black, testing this and get ya necklace jacked
Your after name scratched up off my guestlist, party freak
You the type of nigga that'll hardly speak unless you spoken to
You throw a cold screw but sober up when I'm approaching you
At the same time we postin two niggaz on that ass
Thats gonna do what they supposed to do the limelight
Snatched away from you because its my night
Killarm' blaze hotter than twilight, you better get ya lines right
Half of these crabs cant even rhyme right
