Verse 1:
Release your preconceived beliefs and seek the deepest reaches deep inside//
Keep on reachin' for the beacon towards the peak you climb//
Unleash the beasts that feast upon the weakest features of your mind//
Forge your sword and pour forth your core before your inspiration dies...
In accordance with the forces you harness, let the Source be your guide/
You can soar if you want it, if you open up your inner eye/
Light the torch if you find it, but you gotta give to get the fire/
This progression towards the Essence rewards your efforts stretchin' higher--- stretchin' higher...
(don't let the fire die when the rains run wild)
Verse 2:
When the rain flows, let the flame grow
When the pain holds, let the angels know
pray from your soul to attain those goals
and to play those roles that'll change this globe,
but the veins so cold and the same ole' holds
so we change so slow and we aim so low
and we wane away like a no-show/
if we really wanna rise, hold hope/
fortified souls hold strong, never let go/
Hope floats if you let it rise, otherwise it dies, oh no-
don't let it succumb to the conundrum of these odd days//
Our heart pumps the bass, our voice keeps the cadence ablaze,
but the soul of the song, it is raised beyond this place.
Verse 1: repeat
Verse 3:
I aspire to inspire the tired to reach higher and awake/
The spires we climb inside will rise innate/ if we cultivate the call to fate-
we all can hear- if we listen close to the Ocean's eternal waves/
The potent, supernal grace of this mighty opus will open up a noble goal- to attain//
If we're focused on the processes with purpose-
we can cope with all the pessimistic urges-
and can see the silver lining rising over the horizon
and we know we're know we're never dyin'
cuz our soul it lives in rhythms risen everlivin',
givin' us a vision of a different kinda wisdom.

Re: Maelstrom
Flow was tight as fuck. To me this was a piece of inner motivation; striving to be or do something great. What else can I say? No harsh criticism to point out. Keep it up.
