I'm lookin' for the flows that initiate a mission bold
But I can't find what is missin' though I listen close
Where's the wisdom that was once given in the rhythm's flow?
With a different time may come a different goal,
but within it all we can never fall if we wish to grow.
If you don't give, than you really don't get gold.
Let me dip down this yellow brick road
where the riddle of the metaphor unfolds.
We're headed for better days if we break the mold
but only with our efforts can this change take hold.

I'm still lookin' for the flows that initiate a mission bold,
but instead of waitin', I'm now livin' to attain the goal.
Give and go, me and you, we can do it on our own if we have to.
Just let the flow flux from your soul, full of trust.
Bust out from the mental cage with a thrust from the blade
cleaned of the dust that has settled on the day.
So, aim to adjust, cuz change is a must.
When we fan the flame of love,
we shall overcome.... we shall overcome....

That day is now, and sun rays abound,
cuz we crave to climb the mountain and find the fountain,
to drink the sounds in, and ink our thoughts down with a pen..
The hours have been sent, to give us an intent,
a bit of it's intense, but with it comes a gift to give and get back.
Cuz love is intact, it can't be killed, in fact,
it activates our hearts, casts a light upon that what's right,
and tears back the mask of dawn,
askin' us to shine down upon the whole map.
So I chant down Babylon's avenues
and ask cats to look around at the views,
cuz the shadows cast a mask and cloak the hues
of a New Day soon to be emblazoned in an innovative way.

I like the concept of the drop but it seems a bit simple to me...im use to readin drops from u wit much more word play and a steady flow...this 1 seemed a bit choppy at times...but overall it was a good drop...i enjoy readin ur material..keep ritin man..stay up.one.

I think the flow was a bit off especially compared to your other drops. I definitely enjoyed the language,though. Seems like more of a Distilled Concepts piece, really. Some good ideas presented here.
