Purple City and Diplomats affiliate Agallah is prepping his solo album, “You Already Know,” with the help of some of hip-hop’s most notable artists. “I want people to see what I’m bringing to the table is something extravagant, is something incredible and unforgettable and at the same time see that I walked the path that I walked,” said Agallah, who doubles as an MC and producer. In his decade-long career, the Harlem native has provided beats for popular rappers Busta Rhymes, Big Pun, Remy Ma, as well as Purple City and Dip Set members. For his own solo debut, Agallah has reached out to respected artists Kool G Rap, DJ Premier, Dead Prez and The Alchemist for guest appearances. The album is slated for an August 22 release on Babygrande Records, and Purple City member Shiest Bub is serving as the LP’s executive producer.
