A DMX concert in New York erupted into violence on Saturday evening, when a woman in the audience was struck with a chair thrown off the stage.The “Back To School Jam ‘06” at the Nassau County Veterans Coliseum became a near-riot after the stage show experienced several technical problems.When DMX’s microphone stopped working, he jumped offstage in search of the soundman. Organizers immediately pulled the plug on the Uniondale show.When the Yonkers-born rapper reappeared onstage with several people, audience members began throwing water bottles, and his entourage returned the favor. Several scuffles erupted in the arena.At one point, a fold-up chair was flung onstage and tossed back into the crowd, striking a 29-year-old woman who was later taken to the hospital.Police, who were forced to end the show, say the unidentified woman was treated at Nassau University for a cut on her head.
