Jadakiss, one third of the Lox, was early Saturday morning arrested in his native Yonkers, NY for gun and drug possession.Police at around 5 a.m. reportedly took note of driver Darnell Frazier's strange behavior and the potent marijuana odor emanating from a 2006 Toyota Camry parked on Nepperhan Avenue and Elm Street. A reportedly loaded .38 caliber revolver, that had been reported stolen, was recovered, and all four passengers were charged with possession of a stolen firearm. Jadakiss, AKA Jason Phillips, was also charged with possession of marijuana. Frazier was charged with a DUI (driving under the influence). The four men are in Westchester County Jail and willremain there until at least Tuesday, their scheduled hearing date. Bonds could be established then.Jadakiss was last arrested on gun charges in July 2004 when, in North Carolina, he allegedly possessed marijuana and an illegal gun. Months later he reached a plea agreement and had to pay a $900 fine.Jadakiss is at work on a third solo LP, tentatively titled 'Kiss My Ass'. And according to a recent NBS interview with Lox brethren Styles P, he Jadakiss and Sheek Louch plan to in 2007 release a follow up to 2000's certified platinum 'We Are the Streets'.
