Kanye West, never happy being second best, crashed the stage at the MTV Europe Music Awards when he didn’t win “Best Video.” West reportedly jumped onstage yesterday in Copenhagen, Denmark, when the award for “Best Video” was presented to electro producers Justice & Simian for “We Are Your Friends.” Kanye exclaimed he should have won the prize for his video “Touch The Sky” because it “cost a million dollars, Pamela Anderson was in it. I was jumping across canyons.” “If I don’t win, the awards show loses credibility,” West insisted, adding a few expletives. But the Chicago artist didn’t go home empty-handed: he won the Best Hip-Hop award earlier that night. Other award winners included Rihanna (“Best R&B”), Depeche Mode (“Best Group”), and Muse (“Best Alternative”).The star-studded event was hosted by pop singer Justin Timberlake, and the winners were selected by fans across the European continent.
