the achievements of oprah winfrey, she deserves all of her earnings

micheal jordan influences many from different countries
micheal jacksons history but they're tryna take his money

rosa parks is a lady,respectable and honored
she didnt get up she wanted to get the seat warmer

rest in peace to coretta scott king we all miss her
black legends who can beat the williams sisters

kanye and mariah carey win a grammy the same night
malcom x and his crew all fought for the same rights

but he died unfortunately some live to tell the story
im not impressed with your stereotypical remarks to this glory

Dr J is a legend Wilt Chamberlain is an idol
this race is vital, so im running the race for the title

while we sit and contemplate to this day concentrate
wipe tears from our eyes and let these words accomodate

our brains its insane the same bloods goin through our veins
so if one is killed the blood stains will be the same

Life is just a painted image, with entertaining visions
this month is for all races chained in prison

we dont recognize freedom because its something we're born wit
but imagine my ancestors running threw forests

spoiled with money, power, education and materials
when kids in africa cant afford a box of cereal

survived what seemed to be life impossibly

he later then met a lady he liked and cherished
this intimate relationship began to perish

he began to beat her, cheat, and lie
it came to the point where she wanted to die

she had cousins one in particular
he tought her to defend herselve so he wont deminish her

she later that week she went to meet this man
hopped out the car with a gun in her hand

he jumped and she pulled the trigger accidentally
a big mistake that would destroy her mentally

she was later arrested he was hospitalized
luckily for them both he survived

he was asked to press charges but later refused
her children confused, while shes in jail emotionally bruised

she comes home after 11 days on bail
all her kids could do was read her mail

2 years later they broke up and hes with another
sister doing bad and his brothers live wit their mother

hes back in prison not for possesion or violation
his physical temptation led to his childrens salvation

he now faces 20-30 years locked down
throughout our town hes known as the blocks clown

you would think that this is where the story ends
not until u see the message im tryna send

hes downtown waitin to do a bid
why?cause he broke a knife in his girls belly infront of his kids

just different ways to show u the price of freedom and glory
the surprising part is that this is a true story

ive witness complications in life and stayed calm
now i can express it with the pen in my palm

since birth i was a planted bomb

But I don't get why there is a black history month...its just as if we're pushing it on people instead of saying hey, look, this is what happened, this is people just like those who are taught without this month...

Yet, I did like this...I can't lie.
