climate change is natural. its always happened eg the ice age.

question- how can the seas rise because the ice bergs are melting because i thought water has a bigger mass when frozen? so surley they would go down if anything.

I don't think anyone doesnt agree that the climate is changing. Its whether it's man made or not.

I believe that there is climate change happening. Just like it has for millions of years before us, and will continue after us.

There have been ice ages's in the past. But, I'll assume that was due to the poor gas millage the dinosaurs got in their SUVS.

And on a side note, Al Gore is not a scientist. Several scientist do agree with his batshit crazy theory, but a llllarrrggeee number do not. You can agree with him all you want, but it is NOT FACT. It is a theory. Do not continue saying THIS IS FACT and THE DEBATE IS OVER. Neither of those things are even remotely close to true.

Why? Did you know anything about Co2 levels before, or their effect on the atmosphere? Do you know how many different things are taken to account when trying to determine "climate change?" Do you know how high up on the list CO2 is versus the others?

And how do you know that he is telling the truth, and that his "data" is accurate? Again, he is not a scientist. Just because he made a movie, doesn't mean its true

Follow the money.

the "Clean Environment" movement is big business.

They are guilty large companies into buying "Carbon Credits" (From a company Al Gore help start) to offset there "carbon footprint."

It does not IN ANY WAY reduce the amount of pollution, they are just getting millions and millions of dollars.

They are also trying to force the Kyoto Protocol down the western worlds throat, which is a redistribution of the wealth scheme on a global scale. It will cut our GDP by 30%, and will have little to no positive effect in ending "climate change," with the leading reason being ITS NATURAL.

man made global warming is not a fact. simply a money making scheme. in the UK the level of road tax we pay is now based on the emissions from your car. everyone now pays more tax. the governments gonna sneak extra taxes into all sorts of things.

and they get away with it cause all these hippies buy into everything and dont wanna say nothin cause they think their saving the world.
global warming is happening but nobody has proved it aint natural. and the shit thing is although most of the world is gonna heat up the UK is more than likely gonna get windier and colder than it already is because the the gulf stream`s gonna move south. i want some heat

im not, and it isn't.

BUT, hypothetically speaking...what if was man made.....

Say it is man made. So say we take this into account, and come up with all this pollution stopping legislation, stop producing meat in large scale, cut down emissions, etc. What exactly do you think that is going to do?

We could all get rid of every single car, airplane and motorcycle in the United States of America TODAY, and there would be ZERO change. You think China is going to stop? You think India is going to stop? You think Russia is going to stop?

Absolutely not. So we could stop everything we're doing that supposedly is leading to the problem of so-called "man-made climate change," but that will do nothing to clean up the environment as a whole. That Al Gorleonne, hippy, san-fransicko line of "save the planet" probably isn't going to fly so well in Red China.

Don't get me wrong, im all about stopping pollution and finding an alternative energy source. Not because of some invented theory of "man-made global warming", but because I'm all about clean air, and getting off the saudi oil teat.

But that DOES NOT mean that environmental gangster al gorleonne and his fellow shysters are right.

All great points, but still avoiding my question.

How would it change your opinion. Are we suppose to still do the exact same things?

i saw some WWF commercial about how the ice is melting and its killing polar bears and shit all because of climate change...in the big picture..i do believe Humans r contributing to the problem ...wether its huge or small....but no matter wat the earth itself will go thru these changes with or without our help.....i think the air pollution is a huge problem...there saying how its getting less safe to even breathe outside air and shit..in certain areas...especially in cali...wen i was out there visitin my dad u could see the thick clouds of pollution..its pretty fucked up...to think that its getting unsafe to breathe air outside....and how the water pollution is bad..n all this bottled water really isnt even as good as its said to be...im not worrying about the global warming as much as air or water pollution...
