Like the bullshit, I kept getting older, started writing at the age of six/
It was the closest thing I ever had to the help substitute these violent relationships.../

So I stuck it out w/ my imagination, which was more of a vacation than a last resort/
It's all I had, like the little bit of hallway light every night from when I cracked the door/

I just wanna be a seed who can grow past the dirt, n' feel the sun/
Realize now days, dreams might be fake to most, but are still real to some/

Long read but worth it. Good imagery and a lot of emotion in this. A few rhymes felt forced but over all they don't detract from the piece as a whole.
