The Flame

there once was a flame..
that didnt have a spark..
a ray of light..
barely seen in the dark..
hope sitting on a tight rope..
.thinking thats like 'i might choke'..
.endless burning caused by passion...
and the temptation grew as each day was passin...
the flame grew bigger and the light you could see..
it stood out and i knew what this might be..
its the not the call of the wild..
or me falling apart..
its the strength of your love that guided my heart..
till this day and forever more..
ill be thankful for what you have done..
you showed me everything...
and kept the flame lit that was apart of my sun..
